Where can i print my Invitation?

There are few things you need to consider when printing out your invitation or printable games. Most invitations and printable games at Printabell comes in 5 x 7″ size, but you get an option to choose between 1 per page OR 2 per page. So, which option should you choose?

Printing at home:

If you are using a printer at home, your printer should accept PDF (You will need Acrobat Adobe), JPEG | PNG formats. So, you would probably choose a file based on the paper you have. If you have a standard paper size of 8.5×11″, you may want to choose 2 invitations per page. Although it involves you cutting out the invitations with scissors or Paper Trimmer, you may find yourself saving some money doing it this well.
If you have 5 x 7 inches paper and your printer allows for 5 x 7″ printing on setting, you could go for 1 per page option.

Printing at a print shop:

Example: Fedex office – Staples

Some print shops only accepts PDF format, or JPEG. So, you may want to give the shop a call prior to going so that you have the correct file in a format they will accept. Generally, they should (not all shops) accept PDF file. For printing at a print shop, 2 per page on PDF file seems to be the way to go as I haven’t found may places (yet) that will actually accommodate for 5×7″ 1 per page printing jobs without cutting them out.

One thing to remember is if you are getting the print shop to cut them out for you is to mention to them clearly how you would like them cut . I’ve had people come up to me telling me they cut out a border, a cutting line which should have not been there.

Printing at a photo lab:

Example: Walgreens – Walmart

Photolabs generally accepts JPEG or PNG as a printing format. There is not cutting required but may turn out slightly more expensive so please check on the price prior to printing.

Printing Online:

Example: Vistaprint.com & Mpix.com

Although Vista Print accepts both Jpeg and PNG formats, Mpix only accepts JPEG format. As Printabell only sends PNG & PDF format, you may need to convert the PNG|PDF using Free Converter Tool here

Recommended paper to print on:

This will depend on how much you want to spend. You can use standard paper or white card stock papers. Card stock papers can come in different quality so you could be looking at spending anything from 30 cents to even a $1 per page. So, I would say to make sure to know how much they are before going ahead as printing 30 prints could easily cost $30!
